Delightful Afternoon

Yesterday I had a 'delightful' afternoon with my dear Grandparents and Great Aunt. Aunt Pauline and Grandma told me stories of our ancestors and their adventures crossing the plains and their help in the beginning stages of the Church. They shared our family legacy of faith as we looked at pictures and read stories. What a priceless time.

Grandpa and I had a great time listening to the Lawrence Welk CD I made for him for his birthday. We then listened to some songs from a Christmas CD some of my friends and I made a couple years ago. I love spending time with my grandparents. We're having a lot of fun. That night we had a movie night and watched "Sabrina", so fun.

Happy Valentines Day!

Some of us girls got together and had a cute heart pizza, some fun fuity drink, and went home with scrumptious cupcakes (Emily's specialty). We watched "Becoming Jane" and had fun together.

Idaho Friends

We had a great Superbowl party, watching little of the game. I only really paid attention to the last 10 minutes. It was fun. We all brought fun appetizers or desserts. I brought a fruit platter with a pineapple full of fruit dip. Yum

We had a little Grammy's party, most of us dressed up as singers. Jemela: Madonna; Chris: Pink; Matt: Keith Urban; Me: Carrie Underwood; Emily: Posh Spice; Melony: Kelly Clarkson.

We had some fun little virgin Margaritas, yum!

Adventures in the Cold

These beauties are hanging from the eve of my Grandparents' house, quite scary actually. Ryan took a hoe and knocked them off so they wouldn't fall on anyone.

Idaho Adventures

Today I got stuck in the snow, I don't recommend it. I was going to my aunt and uncle's house and I pulled a couple feet into their driveway and that was it, the car wouldn't budge. Having no idea what to do, I got out and attempted to dig the snow out from under the tires so there could be some traction. It wasn't working. I just prayed that the car would move or someone would help me. After a little while of this struggling, this car started coming down the country road. I had hope. A lady unrolled her window and asked if I was going in or out, I told her I was going out. She and her friend came and pushed the car out of the driveway. I proceeded to back out down the rest of their street because there wasn't enough room to turn around. Crazy snow, but so grateful for two ladies who rescued me.
